Privacy Policy
CNTXT (“CNTXT,” “we,” “us”) provides a personal context assistant. We store the messages, emails, and notes you choose to forward or share with us so that we can organize them and answer your questions. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email address, and mobile phone number.
- Content you send to or forward to your assigned CNTXT phone number and email address (texts, emails, attachments, and notes).
- Usage and diagnostic data needed to operate the service.
How we use it
- To store, index, and retrieve your content so the assistant can answer your questions.
- To send you service messages such as verification codes and replies you request.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Mobile information
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not share, sell, or transfer mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used solely to deliver the CNTXT service (verification codes, AI assistant replies you request, and reminders you configure). Opt-in consent data (including the timestamp and method of consent) is stored securely and is not transferred, sold, or shared with any third party.
Your controls
- Pause ingestion at any time, set a retention window, export everything as JSON, or permanently delete your messages or entire account from your in-app Privacy & data settings.
- Every retrieval is scoped to your own account; your content is not used to answer other users.

CNTXT — Personal AI Context Assistant
Program description
CNTXT is a personal AI assistant service accessible at https://mycntxt.com. The service works primarily via email and a web app. SMS/text messaging is an optional communication channel. If you opt in, you may receive SMS/MMS messages including AI assistant replies to your questions, reminders you configure, and messages you explicitly direct the assistant to send on your behalf. One-time verification codes are sent during account setup to confirm your phone number but do not constitute ongoing SMS consent.
Message flow & consent (opt-in)
SMS messaging is optional and consent is collected exclusively through the CNTXT website at https://mycntxt.com/onboarding. The opt-in flow works as follows:
- The user creates an account at https://mycntxt.com/signup and verifies their phone number with a one-time code. This verification does not opt them in to ongoing messaging.
- During onboarding, the user is shown a clearly-labeled, unchecked-by-default checkbox that reads: “I agree to receive SMS/text messages from CNTXT at the number I verified.” The full SMS terms (this page) are linked next to the checkbox.
- The user must actively check the checkbox and click “Finish setup” to opt in. The timestamp and method of consent are recorded.
- Upon opting in, the user immediately receives a confirmation SMS: “CNTXT: Welcome! You've opted in to receive text messages. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
- Users can also opt in by texting START to their assigned CNTXT number at any time.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase, account creation, or use of the service. You can use CNTXT fully through email and the web app without ever opting in to SMS.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase or use of CNTXT. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

Message frequency varies based on your activity and how you interact with the assistant. You control when the assistant sends messages — it does not send unsolicited marketing texts.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your text and data plan. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-out
You can cancel SMS messaging at any time by texting STOP to your assigned CNTXT phone number. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further text messages. You may also disable SMS in your account settings on the web app. Opting out of SMS does not affect your account or access to CNTXT via email and the web app.
